The number of initiatives that BNA has on the go is overwhelming. Where do we start as a community to prepare for the activities that will be upcoming in the forestry and mining sectors? How do we prepare our membership for these opportunities, ensuring that our members have the necessary skill sets and training to take advantage of what is coming our way? With so much going on, where do we start?

Economic Development Strategic Planning is a critical activity that is undertaken by Chief, Council, staff, and our membership. BNA has gone through several iterations of planning over the years, most recently in 2021/22. Working with our consultants, we have prepared 5-year plans for our various initiatives, ensuring that we will be able to fulfill the economic vision of our leadership and community.
